SERVICE - SARVATORE - ON DEMAND PROCESSING OF
CRYOSAT DATA WITH SAMOSA MODEL
A new CryoSat-2 processing service, SARvatore is now
available on
the G-POD platform
(https://gpod.eo.esa.int/).
SARvatore
- SAR Versatile Altimetric Toolkit for
Ocean Research & Exploitation, provides on demand and on line
processing of
CryoSat-2 SAR FBR data, with many processing options to select from,
generating output of SAR L2 geophysical data products in NetCDF format.
To experiment with SARvatore
register for an EO-SSO user account
(https://earth.esa.int/web/guest/general-registration)
and then contact
G-POD team (at eo-gpod@esa.int ) to request that they activate the
service for you.

A Technical
Note is available providing general guidelines for SAR
(Delay-Doppler) L1b Processing. A Configuration
Control Document describes the different configurations used by
the CP4O
project partners when retracking CryoSat-2 SAR data.

The Validation Data Sets can be accessed via links in
the
summary
table below. The Validation Data Sets will be assessed within CP4O in
WP5000 (Impact Assessment), but the objective is also to make these
data sets openly available for others to access and evaluate.

and how to access the data will be provided in D4.4: The Updated Data
Set User
